I just thought I would do a quick post on some of the easiest ways to get people on your list.

There may be a few of my links in this post but hey if i’m helping you with what works for me then clicking on one of my links seems like a fair trade.

I have been recently using the Russel Brunson viral program and have had some great results. Its free to use although there is an upsell but you dont need it to get the free traffic so don’t be tempted to purchase.  All you need is your aweber list name and a picture of yourself and you are ready to go. I was a bit sceptical with this when I started but I had 7 new people on the list within 30 mins and they just keep coming. I also use this site http://clicky.me/Kb9  and this is a great list building site to use. I paid the $200 for an annual membership which allows me to send a mail to 3000 random people on their list every 3 days. Just be original with your emails and you can get 15-20 leads per day coming from this.  I blasted out my Viral Secret link to it and got great results. Oh and make sure you make a  note in your calander to let you know when you can send your next mail (tuesday seems to be the best day for some reason).

Well I said this would be a short post so that is all for now. I am testing out another free traffic method right now well 2 of them and if  they are worth using I will stick them in another post. I will only add it to the site if it’s tried and tested, and that goes for all products on here.

A webinar can be a great way to promote your product or service. There are four major types of webinars, and each can be effective, depending on the goals for your webinar. Each webinar strategy is detailed below.

In the first webinar strategy, you present a free webinar that gives valuable information to your viewers. Provide information on a topic that viewers want to know about. This will attract them to your webinar. Once you have your captive audience, do not skimp on quality. Give them the content they have been seeking. In the fourth webinar strategy, you do the same webinar numerous times. The difference is that you will present the webinar to different groups of people each time. Every presentation is a fresh opportunity to land sales. This continuous push for your product will ensure a constant stream of new potential clients for your business.

 As a marketing firm how do you use the popularity of a site like YouTube to your advantage?  Well first you can’t just upload a commercial and expect it to be popular.  But if you can post something creative and not obviously selling your product you can use the free advertising to your advantage.  The only way to fail is to not understand who is watching. 

A couple of options for getting viewers attention on YouTube are to create informational, educational, or entertainment videos.  Which you chose is up to you.   Each is targeting different audiences.

 Informational videos are about the company and maybe the product.  Making it a point to be informative about how the product is made without revealing any secrets, used to target those wanting to learn more about the company or product.

Being educational is all about teaching somebody to do something.  Obviously this will be hard but if you do it right you can direct them to your website, generating more traffic to your site in the process. This could be as simple as how to tie a knot or to something a little more complex.  You obviously want to make it something easy to do but interesting to the audience.

 The last is for entertainment, doing something different to advertise your product to get attention to it.  Most advertising on TV is in this category but you want to be careful that you do not make it appear too professional. 

Just producing a video is not enough though.  You need to participate in the user community and make sure the videos direct people to your site.  The end goal of the video is more traffic and business for your company.

Just as with your site you want to choose your keywords for the video carefully.  You want to make sure they make sense but you do not want it to be so open that everything is drawn to it.  You want to focus on a particular audience.  Just as you want going to your web site.

There are some additional benefits to using YouTube for marketing other than it being free.  You can spare your own site hosting the extra bandwidth drain caused by videos.  Videos on YouTube are also now put into Google (Google owns YouTube) so it automatically goes into the search engine.

Lastly when you post a video on YouTube it creates a profile channel.  Viewers can subscribe to the channel and the company can use it for a mailing list for more information and about new videos as they come out.  Of course you want to be careful with not spamming the customer here as you want to gain clients and not lose them.

 To resolve this issue use wordtracker. This program is designed in a way that it gives you keywords similar to yours. Besides revealing the average number of times the keyword is searched it also displays the number of websites using similar keywords. It also informs you about what the target audience is looking for on the search engine. The misspelling search offered by this program also helps you to check the misspellings used by people while entering keywords. Check out for misspelled words on your site through spell checker. Misspelled words give the impression of being unprofessional and careless.

 Be wary of services which claim to place your website on numerous search engines without a charge as this is definitely not going to boost traffic to your website. A legitimate service normally charges $200 for a month.

 If you want banner ads to appear on your site, it is important that you make your site very professional. Many people throw away money by ignoring banner ads, this could act as a detriment.

 Use email addresses to get potential clients. Make it a point to include your name, email address, website address and contact information at the end of the mail. To get email addresses of potential clients approach genuine people. Such services although highly priced are worth the money. But be cautious of people offering millions of email addresses for low cost as you are likely to get invalid addresses which do not target any specific audience.

Personal Branding – Creating the right image

 Currently the market is filled with a variety of brands. Even a natural thing like water is sold under a brand name. Branding helps companies create a niche for themselves in the market. A branded product always cost a little more.
